Mac OS X Lion coming to the Mac App Store in July for $29.99, includes 250 new features
We knew Apple was going to talk the next version of OS X Lion today but in addition to a nice demo of a bunch of the features, we finally got some solid availability details. First up is the news that you won't have to run out and buy a disc for this one — Phil Schiller announced that the new OS will only be available for download in the Mac App Store in July. Oh, but that is not all. It will cost only $29.99 to upgrade your Mac. The Developer Preview will be available later today, so we're hoping to take a hands-on look at that, but hit the break for some shots of the Lion presentation during the WWDC keynote.
