If yesterday's two announcements — the 7.1mm thick, kevlar bearing Droid RAZR and the Ice Cream Sandwich-running Galaxy Nexus — left you torn, here's something to look forward to: Motorola announced that the RAZR will be updated to Android 4.0 early next year. During an event in Berlin, Motorola's Alan Mutricy was asked about the new operating system, which launched not ten hours after the RAZR was announced, and responded that the update would come at the "start of 2012." That's a seriously vague timeframe, and the European update schedule doesn't always match the US anyway: the Motorola Milestone and Droid were updated eight months apart. Still, we're excited at the prospect of the latest and greatest Android software coming to some of the best Android hardware we've seen.
