HTC told Pocket-lint that all upcoming Sense 3.5 phones, including the Sensation XE and Rhyme, will come with an extra 3GB of Dropbox storage, bringing the total to 5GB on a 2GB standard account. You must connect to the service through the phone to qualify, and the bump will count toward the 8GB bonus you can get for referring friends, but it's still nice. When Pocket-lint asked about bringing the same deal to Windows Phone 7, HTC said Microsoft already has SkyDrive, which offers 25GB of cloud storage — not surprising since Dropbox doesn't even have a Windows Phone app yet. The remaining question is whether existing devices will get the Dropbox bump if and when they get updated to Sense 3.5 — we'll let you know if we hear anything.
