It's taken the Optimus Black so long to arrive in the US as Sprint's LG Marquee that its sister phone, the Optimus 2X, is already being updated. The Optimus EX, announced today in Korea, features the same case and super-bright Nova display as the Black, but with the 2X's Tegra 2 processor bumped to 1.2Ghz inside. Camera resolution has been disappointingly dropped to 5 megapixels, but it still shoots 1080p video, and feeds your home videos to a large display with fully mirrored HDMI out. The DMB tuner generally indicates that this thing is Korea-only for now, but we'd assume European and American variants are soon to follow — we'll let you know.
