Simon Garfield explores the world's worst fonts
Co.Design's got an excerpt from Simon Garfield's book Just My Type exploring the worst font offenders with a balance of history and righteous snark. While Gill Sans Light Shadowed gets compared to a headache-inducing Escher drawing, the 2012 Olympics Typeface gets special treatment as the worst of the worst. And, perhaps because Garfield primarily takes aim at over-designed fonts like Ransom Note and Papyrus, Comic Sans remains relatively unscathed.
