Touchstone + iPhone

I have about three old Palm Touchstones lying around my house as well as an iPhone with completely shattered back glass. I am contemplating replacing the back glass but I would love to somehow put in to inductive charging parts from my old Palm Pre Plus. I know that it has been done with a couple of Samsung and HTC phones but I have no idea how to do it and how difficult it would be to do.
