Amazon this morning has announced the launch of both its first French-language Kindle and a French Kindle Store. The new store contains 35,000 books, including 4,000 free classics and all of French the paper L'Express bestsellers. The Kindle is available for pre-order now in France for €99 and it will ship on October 14th. 

This model is identical to the Kindle new classic Kindle which was unveiled at Amazon's event last week in New York City.
