Starbucks UK embraces Olympics, freeloaders: offers free one-click Wi-Fi to all
British coffee drinkers: prepare for the fight over seats at your local Starbucks to be even more intense. The Seattle-based coffee giant changed their Wi-Fi policy in the UK to allow membership-free one-click access to the internet via BT Openzone, mimicking a move made in the US last summer. The company previously gave access only to members of its free Starbucks Rewards program. The move comes as part of a broader initiative to revamp some of the company's stores for the upcoming 2012 Olympics in London.
