Robotic Hand - Creepy
I built this simple, inexpensive robotic hand and was quite surprised how lifelike it turned out. It's easy to make with an Arduino microcontroller, 5 servos, some plastic tubing and fishing line. Well there's lots of hot glue and some wooden skewers also lol.
The Arduino gives so much ability to the hand, very simple code and it can do just about anything. I've tested it with holding a beer, it works great. I'll be uploading more test videos as well as adding some simple button functionality so that you can control when it grips and releases objects rather than it just waiting 3 seconds.
