After releases on T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint several weeks ago, AT&T is adding its own branded version of RIM's BlackBerry Bold 9900 this Sunday, November 6th for $199.99 on contract. Launching the same day will be the Torch 9860 — the Bold's full-touch cousin, also running BlackBerry 7 atop the same 1.2GHz processor — for a hundred less at $99.99. Moving downmarket, the Curve 9360 will be launching on November 20th for $29.99 on contract (business and government customers will have access a few days early on the 14th). With BBX in the pipeline, the lifespans of these models may be relatively short — but for the 9900, at least, there's little doubt that it'll find an audience.
AT&T: BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Torch 9860 coming November 6th, Curve 9360 on November 20th

Liking the Product links/Review scores at the bottom of stories, nice and easy to see how little I have to care about this story

In all fairness though….The Verge wouldn’t be doing a great job if they didn’t cover everything. Sure I think BB is on it’s last stem, but it is tech news and they should cover it.
OK back to sleeping……SNORE.

That’s actually one of the things I liked about This Is My Next, the only covered the real important stuff. Maybe a way to filter out these sorts of posts would be a nice feature to add.

That 9860 is giving me huge Pre2/3 vibes. Especially with BBOS looking that way and the green wallpaper.

RIM really needs to change something, and innovate, quickly.
Kind of like Engadget as of today.

Wait, You guys don’t have these phones yet?
In Canada we have all these models widely available from all three major carriers in September…
I’m not bragging, because the phones, are not so good… but it’s interesting that they were available in Canada first, rather than at the same time.

Is see now that they came to other carriers, but not AT&T are getting them. Still, AT&T runs on the same Bands as Rogers, Bell and Telus, no? These are essentially the same phones as what we have in Canada.

Nice to see AT&T finally get on the 9900 bandwagon.

For some reason I like the design of the Bold 9900. It is mainly the OS that keeps me from ever touching the device.

About time for AT&T(-Mobile?) to get that handled.
And Snore Wars? Really? 9__9.

Now if RIM can do something really kick ass with their new OS, then we can wake up.
Until then, zzzzzzzzz….

The Bold 9900 is a remarkably good phone. If BB is not your thing, that’s fine. But the design/feel/layout of the keyboard on the 9900 is awesome.

The keyboard is amazing on Blackberries, but I would get the Captivate Glide rather than a Blackberry.

Now, all they need to do is roll out software updates to the older devices, like the one I have…oh wait…
