AT&T and T-Mobile Merger: Your thoughts
Hello Verge,
I'm working on a law review article about the merger between T-Mobile and AT&T, and I'm curious what everyone thinks about it. In its complaint, the Justice Department makes quite a few arguments about the value of having T-Mobile in the marketplace, such as: (1) T-Mobile the "value option" among the carriers; (2) T-Mobile has been responsible for a number of "firsts" in the wireless industry; and (3) T-Mobile has forced other carriers to innovate their networks.
Do you agree with these propositions? Is T-Mobile really the innovative, low-price competitor that the Justice Department is making it out to be? Just curious what the Verge community thinks. Thanks.
