The Verge Facebook app?
Recently ive started using The Guardian's Newspaper, Facebook app. Its just the same content as their website, but in a different layout etc. Maybe it may not appeal to us who read just off the website, but it may attract new readers, as the Guardian App does, with a "someone is reading: a particular article on the Guardian". just a quick idea anyway :)
