Building a laptop
I'm seriously considering building a laptop from scratch and running Ubuntu on it. However, when I look online for tutorials and how-to's, it just says to buy the parts online, such as the barebones case, the processor, etc.
First, I have no idea what to look for when looking for a barebook. Any suggestions? Also, how do I buy just a processor? I'm thinking and intel i7, but I don't know where to buy it, and there are so many iterations that I would need a suggestion on this as well.
Other things that I would probably need to buy (and therefore need suggestions for):
- RAM
- Good SSD
- Graphics Card
- Motherboard??? (I've heard that some include graphics cards)
- CD drive
- any thing else I'm missing that are essential in the building of a laptop.
