Sure, you don't need a MicroConsole to take advantage of the OnLive cloud gaming service, just a good internet connection and most any old Mac or PC, but if your heart's set on streaming Assassin's Creed Revelations, you can pre-order the game by November 19th and get the whole OnLive Game System for free. It normally costs $99, though OnLive's actually been giving away quite a few of the tiny set-top boxes in an attempt to build the network out.
