Google Gift Cards

Apple has gift cards for its services. Apps, music, movies, you name it, you can just go to pretty much any store and pick up enough credit for your purchases - no credit card required. Many people with iPod touches, for example, are kids. Most of them do not have credit cards, but many children-oriented apps are sold every day, and who doesn't want to buy some music without getting parents' credit card information every time. And most adults are scared to give their credit card information to their kids, because they could buy one of these. So if gift cards are so convenient and open up paid services from Google to a whole new market, why doesn't Google have them? I have no answer. Particularly with Google Music prepared to combat iTunes, the young population is an important group. And the key to gaining users in that group is gift cards.
