The Verge logotype
I love the Verge logo, but the "G" looks really bad to me. It looks like it was designed by another person. Maybe it's the fact that the letter doesn't line up vertically with the top of the G and the hook at the bottom, or maybe it's that every letter stays on the baseline while the G lifts up from it.
