Sony Tablet P on sale in the UK for £499.99
We haven't heard a peep about Sony's Tablet P in nearly three months, but that doesn't mean things aren't going according to plan. The folding cylindrical dual-screen slate recently arrived in the United Kingdom, right on schedule. If the unique form factor doesn't throw you off, you can find it for £499.99 (roughly $780) including VAT, which buys you a dual-core Tegra 2 processor with 1GB of RAM, a pair of 5.5-inch screens at 1024 x 480 resolution, 4GB of storage (expandable via microSD) and Android 3.2, not to mention PlayStation Certified branding. It's a little pricey, and after the so-so Sony Tablet S, we're going to wait and see if it impresses. Perhaps Sony intends to do the same before launching it on AT&T. While you wait, how about checking out our hands-on preview from earlier this year?
