To put this question, finally, to rest: Does the iPhone use Gorilla glass or not?
I've been reading the Steve Jobs bio and have reached the part where Isaacson is talking about the creation of the iPhone. One of the things that piqued my interest is Steve's meeting with the CEO of Corning, Wendell Weeks. Steve asked him to make a lot of the glass faces for the iPhone (so much in fact that the Kentucky factory did nothing else but make the glass faces for months).
Since the Apple is never mentioned by name in any of the Gorilla Glass PR material are they buyers of this glass? Lots of other sites don't think so based on the apple not being in their material.
