Sony's PlayStation Vita uses a proprietary memory card format not entirely dissimilar in appearance to an SD card — and given the lack of any internal storage, purchasing one is pretty much a requirement. GameStop's now listing prices for four sizes of Vita cards ranging from $29.99 for 4GB all the way to $119.99 for 32GB.

Sony's PlayStation Vita uses a proprietary memory card format not entirely dissimilar in appearance to an SD card — and given the lack of any internal storage, purchasing one is pretty much a requirement. GameStop's US website is now listing prices for four sizes of Vita cards ranging from $29.99 for 4GB all the way to $119.99 for 32GB. Those run fairly parallel to what Sony charges (non-sale price) for Memory Stick Pro Duo cards used by the PSP, give or take several dollars in either direction (sometimes cheaper, sometimes more expensive). Estimated release date is February 15th, which gives you about a week to stare down the card while waiting for the Vita's 22nd launch date — less time if you opt for the First Edition pre-order bundle, but that already has a 4GB card included.
