Motorola XT928 comes to China Telecom with 13-megapixel camera and 720p display
Motorola's big push into China continues with the announcement of the Motorola XT928. As we heard earlier, the XT928 packs similar specs to the recently-introduced MT917, including a 4.5-inch, 1280 x 720 screen, dual-core 1.2GHz processor and 13-megapixel camera. Stylistically, the XT928 has a bit of a Droid Bionic vibe; it's a bit thicker and lacks the flashy Kevlar backing of the RAZR and MT917. This Android 2.3 smartphone is heading to China Telecom, running on its CDMA2000 network, unlike the TD-SCDMA MT917. Given the misgivings we had with the RAZR's screen, it's tough to see these 720p devices launching abroad — hopefully Motorola graces the rest of the world with such a screen soon.
