Comments Baked into Video
I just watched the gmail for iOS hands on video and was annoyed by the lower thirds comments baked on to the video. I didn't finish the video because I found the comments so distracting. Their placement meant that the bottom of the iPhone in the video was cut off and the transitions ensured that I never looked up from the bottom. Maybe it would work if the video aspect ratio was 4 by 3 with the comments docked under the source video. I'm not sure comments in the video add anything worthwhile considering that I could just scroll down and read comments on the page myself. What are the communities thoughts on this?
