HBO Go has arrived on Roku's lineup of set-top streamers, slightly later than its promise to deliver at the end of October. As with other HBO Go offerings, the channel is only available for current subscribers, provided their TV provider also supports the service on Roku. This falls right in line with the company's new strategy to embrace the content industry as it reaches for its goal to "have a Roku in every home." According to Engadget HD, the company's CEO has reported that around 80 percent of owners still have cable or satellite subscriptions, and offering HBO Go is a great way to align itself as the second box in people's homes.
