Commodore C64x-Extreme announced, to ship with Core i7 CPU
Remember that time Barry Altman put a PC inside a replica Commodore 64 case and we thought, "that's pretty awesome"? Well, it looks like he's at it again. The Commodore C64x-Extreme is an update of the C64x that adds a 2.2GHz Sandy Bridge Core i7 CPU, a 2TB HDD, 8 gigs of RAM, USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, DVI, and VGA display connections, and more. It ships with Linux Mint 11 and something called Commodore OS Vision. This is definitely not for the faint of heart, and current plans call for it to ship by December 15th if ordered before November 25th.
