At $500, we couldn't give the 24-inch PlayStation 3D Display our unvarnished recommendation, and that's still true today — but it sure looks a lot more tempting when you can add a PlayStation 3 console for an additional $100! Best Buy is offering an exclusive package with the 240Hz 3D LCD monitor and a 160GB PS3 Slim for $599.99, which also comes with a pair of universal active shutter glasses and a copy of MotorStorm: Apocalypse at that price. You'll still need a second controller and a second pair of glasses to make use of the split-screen SimulView tech, of course, but it's still a pretty substantial savings of $150 if you don't already have the console.
