Dedicated shutter button: should all phones have it?
My first smartphone was a Palm Pre and I used the camera out of that thing until it died, but I was a bit irritated with having to rely on the software button to take images. I got my Epic and it has a dedicated two-stage shutter button that I love (minus that last final 'click' to get the image), but I love using the first stage to set focus.
Now the Galaxy Nexus is approaching and it's not going to have one at all. Windows Phones all have this and I loved it on the Arrive. The iPhone even jury-rigged one with their volume (although its placement is bizarre compared to the standard). Should all phones have a hardware shutter button or an equivalent?
