Despite only being launched yesterday, we're already seeing a price cut of $100 on both the HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket in some markets. The handsets represent your only two options on AT&T's small but growing LTE network, and with the discount the phones come in at $99 for the Vivid and $149 for the Skyrocket on a two-year contract. As a reminder, the Vivid is a Sense-infused Android 2.3.4 device with a 4.5-inch Super-LCD screen and 1.2GHz dual-core processor, while the Skyrocket runs Android 2.3.5 with TouchWiz, a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display, and a 1.5GHz dual-core chip. For more details, check out our comparison tool, and look out for our HTC Vivid review soon.

We're only able to find these deals in NYC, Los Angeles, and San Francisco direct from AT&T's website, with everywhere else still showing the handsets for $199 / $249 respectively. It's worth bearing in mind that none of these cities are LTE-enabled yet, which could go some way to explaining the reductions, but other cities are inexplicably left out.
