Will the Galaxy Nexus do voice control without being connected to the internet?
One of the things that frustrates me about voice actions on my OG Droid (and Siri as I have used an iPhone 4S quite a bit) is that I have to be connected to the internet and hit servers for it to work. I will be getting the Galaxy Nexus and I was really happy to see in this comparison on The Verge that under "Voice Control" it says "local" instead of "server based." Does this mean that I will be able to do voice actions on the device itself? I imagine this would make it much faster. I haven't been able to find anything else confirming this. Is anyone else excited for this? Am I reading this incorrectly?
