Do you get social for money?



What I mean is, is it part of your profession to either make brands social (maybe you're a marketer), or help to shape the social strategy for your product/service? 



What do you consider a successful initiative? A successful day? Are you "graded" by how much growth your brand sees on networks like Facebook or Twitter? How do you influence growth?
