The latest release of the Box app for iOS is more than just an update — the cloud storage firm has rebuilt the app from the ground up, and promises drastically improved performance and usability over previous versions. Besides this, there are also several new features we're sure heavy users will appreciate. The app now includes better integration with the built-in Camera application, letting users upload their photos and videos directly to your Box account, along with text-based search of your entire Box folder, and the ability to selectively choose which files to take offline.

These improved features will be a relief to users who took up Box's free 50 GB offer (that's now ended) but were disappointed with the lack of feature parity with other services like Dropbox. The 100MB limitation on free accounts still seems to apply, but at least the experience is a little sweeter. The new version can be grabbed from the App Store.
