Dutch version of RIAA (BUMA/STEMRA) uses torrents
Anti-pirating organization BUMA/STEMRA downloaded Entourage
A very funny situation going on here in the small country called The Netherlands. BUMA/STEMRA, equivalent to the US RIAA, has, according to Geenstijl.nl (Beware, Dutch!), downloaded illegal content from torrent websites.
As you might have heard the website youhavedownloaded.com is making an effort to create awareness that downloading from torrent sites is all but private. Some people tracked the IP adresses from BUMA/STEMRA, approximately between 212.78.179.240 and 212.78.179.255, and they have checked these adresses on that website, coming up with some great results.
The most hilarious thing is, that BUMA/STEMRA has reacted (dutch!) to these claims, saying that they must have been a victim of IP Spoofing, and that someone else downloaded that. They somehow always manage to dig themselves deeper in the pile of ... they are already in!
