Best Photo Sharing service for an iPad user?

I'm a non Facebook/Twitter/Insert-your-favorite-social-networking-site-here user, but I still need something to share photos with friends through. What's the best December-2011 option for someone who keeps his photos on his iPad?

I'd prefer-but-not-necessarily-need something that lets me limit my photos from being freely viewable by anyone.
