We caught a glimpse last weekend of the update to BlackBerry OS version 7.1 that finally adds mobile hotspot capability to RIM's aging OS, and now Sprint has made the software available officially for both the Bold 9930 and Torch 9850. The Bold comes as a little surprise since last week's leaked version was only for its sliding sibling. Although some of you might have received the update over the air in the past couple of days, it's now also available to download directly from the BlackBerry website (an .exe install file, so Windows only). Aside from the hotspot update, we're not hearing of any other major changes to the OS over version 7.0, and there's no word on the update for other carriers just yet.
