Why are there still Alltel commercials?
I understand that for a period of time after a merger, there will be commercials for both companies. It was exceptionally funny to watch the old Alltel commercials that bashed Verizon and the gang shortly after they were scooped up by VZW. What I don't get is why I'm hearing Alltel commercials on the radio now. Especially since they are comparing pricing to Verizon ("Sign up now and save $x a month over Verizon").
Did Verizon sell off the name to someone else? Are they merely setting up a pseudo competitor to score those that would prefer not to deal with the big two (ATT & VZW)?
