Apple iPhone 4 (GSM)
Reviewed by Patben (Currently owns)
The iPhone 4 is one of the best all-around smartphones on the market. It's display is crisp and clear, by far the best I've ever used on a phone, and the design is iconic, albeit fragile. It's camera is great, and while pictures can be grainy, it's amazing that a phone can take such good pictures. While some criticize iOS for being too simplistic and controlling, there's no denying that it is easy to use and functional, and the ecosystem is unmatched by any smartphone platform. Because of the hardware-software optimization, there is rarely any stutter or lag, and the screen is extremely responsive. AT&T is pretty reliable in my area, and I get pretty good 3G data speeds. My one complaint is the hit iOS 5 has taken on my battery life. While it's not horrible, I definitely find myself reaching for the charger more often and earlier during the day. Overall, though, I am very satisfied with the phone even after a year of owning it.
