Samsung Droid Charge

For those interested in the Droid Charge: beware the brown UI. It is quite possibly the ugliest UI I have ever experienced on the phone. A lot of the brown can be covered up by using replacement apps for the dialer, messaging, etc. but it is an eyesore.
In addition, Touchwiz, for the uninitiated, is a painful experience. It is a hybrid between iOS and the stock Android, but in an unappealing and unsuccesful way. From my experience, it is the worst of the Android skins (old Sense and Motoblur are better, with stock being the best), and it cheapens the experience of using this phone. A launcher replacement like LauncherPro or Zeam is necessary.
In conclusion, why buy this phone? It was a nice 4G phone, and it has a great screen. It has bad battery life, only 1 core, it's big, the 4G radios are a mess, and it will never see a product update after Gingerbread due to Samsung's inability to produce updates. The 4G signal is wonky on my unit, and I am on my third replacement due to hardware malfunctions (broken SD slot, and broken USB charging port).
At least it doesn't look like an iphone clone.
