Great hardware design married with top-notch software but hobbled by few but critical flaws: poor camera and crappy wifi chip. This could've easily been the first “real” Windows Phone.

Dell Venue Pro’s hardware design is really gorgeous. It stands out when put side-by-side with other phones. The back design is also a nice touch. The curve gorilla glass and AMOLED display makes the phone look classy. However, I am a little turned off on how it looks from side, thick slab of glossy silver metal. I’m a big fan of QWERTY keyboard and DVP did not disappoint on this aspect. I like it so much that I can honestly say it is better than Blackberry keyboards!

I have yet to experience any wifi connectivity woes but the lack of support for internet sharing because of the crappy wifi chip is annoying (even deal breaker for some of my friends). Camera performs ok in general but is downright unusable when taking pictures in motion or at night.
