I had the original EVO 4G, it was the greatest phone I ever owned. The HTC EVO 3D builds on this phone in quite a number of ways, improves on some very important parts, mainly the battery, the processor (even now, i haven't had a slowdown. pretty impressive), and the display. However, there are a lot of compromises. Too many in my opinion. The 8 megapixel was awesome, i caught some truly great photos (as in, print and frame worthy) without any editing. This new camera is just...ok. the video capture is great, if not a little sharp. But nonetheless, overall disappointed with the camera. The kickstand is gone. That hurts, HTC. The display could be much better, so could Sense. Also, to be completely honest and pardon my language, but the reception and signal strength is 100% sh*t. My Samsung A900 from 6 years ago had better reception and my EVO 4G had service literally everywhere. With the EVO 3D, I'm ROAMING everywhere.

But in the end, this phone was definitely worth the upgrade from the 4G. I just hope next year HTC brings the EVO brand back on top because I've decided, I'm jumping ship if the next iPhone has a ~4 inch screen. That's the only thing Android has me hanging on to....
