Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Verizon)

Fastest Android phone I've ever used - for reference, this phone experiences about the same amount of lag as my stock iPad 2. The lag occurs at different times, of course, and I'm largely talking about what occurs in the OS and core apps, since I can't hold Google/Nexus 100% responsible for a poorly developed app. The screen is absolutely incredible (HD YouTube looks astonishing). The software is where this phone really shines, though. The way that multitasking works in both the OS and the browser amazes my friends that have iPhones or Android phones pre-4.0. It all works very well. The battery could definitely be improved, and apparently it will once a partial wake-lock bug is fixed. Highly recommended for someone looking at Android. First Android phone in the world I would recommend to someone that originally wanted an iPhone.
