Motorola Droid X
Reviewed by Droosh (Previously owned)
My first Android smartphone. This was a popular phone for a reason.
Like the OG Droid, this phone was built like a tank! I went casesless and dropped this phone on every surface and it was never damaged. The soft-touch on the metal even hid the scuffs pretty well.
I take issue with the changes Motorola made to the Android framework and the UI. This did get better with updates. Custom ROMs made it great. Although the bootloader is encrypted, The phone can easily be undervolted and overclocked for great performance and battery life. After the encryption was bypassed with 2nd-Init (thanks @cvpcs) CyanogenMod gives this device a second lease on life.
