Motorola Droid X2

Like the OG Droid and the DX the DX2 is built like a tank! The design is 99% the same as the DX.
The display is outstanding IMO, although many would disagree. I found the qHD RGBW PenTile matrix LCD to get excellent battery performance, color rendition with sharp text quality, while also highly visible in sunlight. The trade-off is some minor "screen-door" effect with certain colors.
Largely disappointing on the software front as this is even more locked down than the DX. 2nd-init won't crack the bootloader for AOSP ROMs like CyanogenMod and as a result the developer community is quite small. I do find the Eclipise 2.02 ROM built off of the Androind 2.3.5 leak to be a fair compromise.
The dual-core SoC is a nice upgrade, although Tegra 2 doesn't support all of the native Android coding nor does it have some of the battery advantages as the newer dual core ARM designs released by nVidia's competitors.
