HTC Incredible 2

Android phones, particularly the DROID branded Verizon phones, have mostly been about bleeding edge technology. The HTC Incredible 2, however, is a change to this. HTC and Verizon, left out many new technologies, such as dual core processors, qHD displays, and 4G LTE in order to refine the highly successful Incredible. The camera, already superb, has been given nice upgrades, with software and video recording greatly improved. The display is bumped to 4 inches, and the LCD screen offers superb viewing angles and, unlike the display of its father, great outdoor performance. HTC Sense is upgraded to version 2.1, and while this reviewer prefers stock Android, Sense does offer greater ease of use compared to competitors. Despite the single core processor, scrolling and pinch to zoom were the most fluid I've ever seen on an Android phone, almost meeting the gold standard of the iPhone. The greatest feature of the Incredible 2 is the excellent battery life, wich can last about 2 days with moderate use, and 1 day of extreme game playing and web surfing. While it may not have the latest tech, the Incredible 2 stacks up well with any competition it is given, and can give Verizon smart phones a run for their money.
