Android 3.2 rolling out to HTC Evo View 4G tablets
Not content to let European owners have all the fun, Sprint users in the US are reporting that the Android 3.2 update for the Evo View 4G is currently being distributed over the air. Sprint has a change log for the update posted, which mentions a "new virtual and holographic user interface" to HTC's Sense skin alongside the obviously more exciting switch to Honeycomb.
After you download and install the 217MB update, get ready for a bit of work as all of your homescreens and your wallpaper will get reverted to the default. The update will also disable the four capacitive buttons on the face of the Evo View 4G, as they're redundant on Honeycomb. That's a small price to pay for getting a version of Android designed from the get-go for tablets, and hopefully US owners of the Wi-Fi only HTC Flyer will get in on the action any day now.
Thanks, Jeffrey!
