If you're running Android 4.0 and are wishing for an optimized version of Dropbox, wait no longer — the company has just posted a preview of Dropbox built for Ice Cream Sandwich that also includes a number of new features. Some, like bulk uploading of photos and videos, have been available on the iOS Dropbox release; but others, like renaming files and folders, appear to be exclusive to this new release. Other new features to Android include easy offline access to designated files as well as an improved photo gallery view.

If you want to give this new build a shot, don't bother looking in the Android Market — you'll want to head on over to the Dropbox forums, where you can download it or scan a QR code with your phone to get a direct link to the new .apk file. Have fun trying out these new features, but use caution: Dropbox notes this app is only a preview and that users might find some bugs and errors along the way.

Update: Dropbox's blog notes that the app is officially available now in the Android Market
