A Hot or Not for the intellectual clique? Perhaps. Art or Not is a new website employing the classic Hot or Not interface and universally understood 1-to-10 grading scale to figure out what constitutes art and what doesn't. Image submission is exceedingly easy: you can add your picture via the web-based form, email it in, or just tweet it while attaching the hastag #artornot. Then it's on to the democratic process of letting the internet's cognoscenti decide just how much art your submitted work contains, as expressed in the form of a percentage. Yes, we're sure we're missing some very important point about the irreducibility of great work to simple number-crunching, but what the hell, judging is fun!
