Yesterday, my brand new Galaxy Nexus (nice phone, ICS is great, runs circles around my old Galaxy S) fell into a bucket full of water (don't ask, human stupidity knows no bounds). It was in there for about 5 seconds, its screen glowing up from the bottom. Pulled it out, dried it off (there was little to no water in the battery compartment) and it still works. Perfectly. This is just crazy. While I hate what Samsung did to Android on their other phones (Touchwiz), I'm now entirely sold on their build quality. My Galaxy S fell at least 20 times to the floor (yes, I am very clumsy) and while the plastic feels less robust than, say, an iPhone 4S, after this latest episode I'm amazed at how well built these Samsung things really are.
