Upgraded from 3GS and so was a major improvement all around. Display is superb. Size (3.5") is a love it or leave issue. Personally, I like the size. The software is stable and slick but slightly dinged for Siri still being in beta. Is admittedly catching up to Android in notifications but both ecosystems are learning from each other (this is good). Camera is superb (as is editing software). Battery life is better than my old 3GS was when new but I am careful in switching off unnecessary things like location-based iAds which helps maximize battery.
