I suggest Microsoft changes the Windows phone name, for the brand's sake.
We all know Windows Phone 7 is a shit name (if you think it's good, heh, alright), it doesn't flow, and is sort of redundant. The mobile world needs more catchy titles like iOS, spotify, mog or android. They stick out, are hard to forget, and build a brand. iOS is sort of vague, but Apple is such a powerhouse, no one will mistake it now. So the key to naming it seems to today is to keep it short, and Windows phone 7 aint short, and it will get worse once the inevitable Windows Phone 8 rolls around. So, like everyone suggests, why not call Microsoft's mobile OS Metro OS, or for short, MetrOS, like GladOS of sorts. It flows, is decidedly unique, and can keep the name attached to each update the phone goes through eg: MetrOS 1, 2.2, 3. What name do you suggest Microsoft should adopt for their mobile sector, or do you think Windows phone is a sufficient title?
