Arise Sir Jonathan Ive
Jonathan Ive is to be knighted in the New Year by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
As most of us know, Sir Jony is the man behind the designs of the iMac, PowerBook G4, G4 Cube, MacBook, unibody MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iPod, iPhone, iPad
He was previously given a CBE in the 2006 New Years honours list.
Sir Jonathan described the honour as "absolutely thrilling" and said he was "both humbled and sincerely grateful."
Further stating "I am keenly aware that I benefit from a wonderful tradition in the UK of designing and making. I discovered at an early age that all I've ever wanted to do is design."
