Android 4.0 update for Nexus S being tested by Google employees
As of today, the Galaxy Nexus is the only phone officially running Android 4.0 — that is, unless you're a Google employee. Nexus S-toting Googlers have been getting Ice Cream Sandwich as an over-the-air update, as an internal test before the company rolls the OS out more widely. Details are scarce and closely guarded (most of the original tweets and Google+ posts from employees about the update have since been deleted), but initial reports were that Ice Cream Sandwich was working well on the phone. There's still no firm timetable for the update to be delivered to everyone, but it looks like it can't be far off now — the only question is, will the Nexus S be the first handset in America to have Android 4.0, since Verizon's Galaxy Nexus is still nowhere to be seen?
Thanks, Benjamin!
