RIM's "all-touch" Torch 9850 is destined for US Cellular — and it may be coming to Verizon, too
Potentially following in US Cellular's footsteps, CrackBerry has an image that suggests Verizon is also on board for the Storm 9850, which — if accurate — means that Sprint’s national exclusive on the phone is either brief or non-existent altogether. Unfortunately, there’s no indication on the image of when it might launch.
Regional carrier US Cellular has announced that it'll add the BlackBerry Torch 9850 to its lineup beginning this Friday, August 24th for $199.99 on contract after a $100 mail-in rebate. The 9850 is one of the three new touchsceen-equipped BlackBerry models in the Bold and Torch families that RIM introduced early this month, and it's the only one without a physical keypad, making it a proper successor to the Storm line.
